A trek through the Kreung hill tribe region between Banlung and Voensai in North Ratanakiri. This trek crossesthrough a hilly region of primary forests and small agricultural areas and involves jungle a scenic cascading waterfall and creek with good swimming holes.
Distance: 20 km
Highlights: Jungle, small Cascading Waterfall
1 Day Trek: Trek period : Between 5-6 hrs.
Morning: Leave the office in Banlung at 8:15am, to travel from Banlung by car /or tuk tuk to a small tribal village 30 minutes away.
Here we begin trekking into the jungle, crossing a few small streams and hills.
Lunch: Reach a jungle scenic creek with rapids and a cascading waterfall at noon and enjoy a swim in the clear water before having lunch as a picnic .
Afternoon: At the afternoon trek through the hills via a different route back through the jungle to the village starting point, then return to Banlung.
